Hello! I'm Yuri, the creator behind this handcrafted collection of edge grain cutting boards and other custom wood pieces. I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home for the past 33 years, living in Tacoma, Washington, where I’ve found endless inspiration in the natural beauty surrounding me.

In 2005, I married my wonderful wife, and together we’ve been blessed with three amazing children who are the heart of everything I do. When I’m not in the workshop, you’ll likely find me outdoors — hiking, snowboarding, playing tennis, or hitting the golf course. Nature and adventure are big parts of my life and influence much of my work.

I’ve been involved in woodworking and construction since 2005, gaining invaluable experience over the years. My journey took a more personal turn about four years ago when I began crafting custom cutting boards for friends and family. What started as a passion project soon became something more — a desire to share my creations with a wider community.

Encouraged by the positive feedback from loved ones, I decided to expand beyond my inner circle and offer my work to others who appreciate the timeless beauty and functionality of handmade wood products. Every piece I create is a reflection of my dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and a love for the art of woodworking.
